  • Globalization & India Inc.

The Elephant is on the march upon a flat world. We would love to hear your thoughts and views about India's remarkable progress in recent years. Can India be No. 1? Can India Inc. sustain it's growth rate? How do you foresee improving infrastructure in India?

    Growth rate

With an expected growth rate of around 8%, India surely is the best bet for Investors from across the globe. No european country is recording growth rate higher than 3%. This in itself is an indication. The country is on an upward trajectory and this does not seem to be a bubble.

India will surely come out in the no.1 position but it would be a tough battle between the Indian elephant and the CHinese dragon.

But the tortoise always wins the race.

The road is long and rough

The road is long and rough. I think growth is not the only indicator of strength of the country. We should spend the wealth generated on improving the infrastructure in country. There is much to be done. China is far ahead in this. Another thing is we should invest in technolgy and R&D so that India becomes independent and can accomplish it's major projects independently. We still go to other countries for assistance like America and Russia.
India should have challenging goals like free and compulsory education till 25 years of age for every Indian. Our government lack's good goals. having a 8 % growth means nothing when every MNC is looking at India as a M A R K E T and investing here. opinions are welcome

          India success come from USA

If India wants to continue this success, it must recognize who is really a true friend. The growth of Indian economy comes from the desire of Unites states to counterbalance Chinese and other dragon threatening economy. They also want India, as a long time rival of china, to be strong militarily because the northern Indian army might be useful for them in the future. Without USA India wouldn’t be known by other Asian country as a strong economic factor.

I think India should continue to be a good ally for unites state and England and not trying to distance themselves to please china and Iran. After, all the money flow mostly from unites states, not from Russia, or china. Those countries are greedy and would have never help India. Now that India is strong they want to use India to penetrate indirectly the united state market. India should continue to get closer to America, Europe than to go back to old worthless socialist country like Russia and china.
